PRO TIP: Best tires to install Grip Studs are an off-road knobby style with a minimum lug height of 5mm or you risk air chamber penetration.

The number of studs per tire depends on tire size: 

Commuter E-Bikes with 20" Rims: approximately 100 studs per tire

Mountain Bikes with 29" Rims: approximately 150 studs per tire

A variable speed drill can be used to install studs into tires however we find installing by hand is advantageous in bicycle tires.
